The local and channel inventory was not enough. Therefore PMS cannot confirm the order immediately.
In order to reduce the risk of order rejection, hotels will decide if they can take the order or not in the first 90 seconds. After 90 seconds the PMS will automatically cancel the order. Hotel needs to check the order status from EBK background and follow the below precedure:
If hotel still has vacancy room, order can be made in system manually.
if there are no vancancy rooms available, hotel needs to contact with Ctrip and cancel the order.
The reasons why does hotel receive the order need to be confirmed:
Reason 1 CM - channel config, channel room has not match with local room(not dircet connection yet), see Pic as below. Hotel needs to match channel room with local room ASAP.
Reason 2 Hotel has contracted room(allotment) in Ctrip
Reason 3 Freesale order
2. Booking.com
The reasons why does hotel receive the order need to be confirmed:
Reason 1 CM - channel config, channel room has not match with local room(not dircet connection yet), see Pic as below. Hotel needs to match channel room with local room ASAP.
Reason 2 The inventory was added manually, and the extra order can not allow to allocate room.
Reason 3 system need 30 sec to transfer local inventory to Booking ebk. Thus, if there is order was generated during this 30 sec, it will show order need to be confirmed.
